Previously the old head office and contracting yard for Benson Bros (Bristol) Ltd, this 3.67 acre site is being prepared for development. With the relocation of the Contracting Division to Aztec West and Investment & Developments to 110 Princess Victoria Street in Clifton, the vacant site was demolished in June 09.

Discussions are well advanced with Avon and Somerset Constabulary who will acquire the site in its entirety to construct a 54 bed custody suite.  Initial public consultations have been held and warmly received.
